RE-GREEN Activities

The project components and activities are clearly interrelated in order to achieve the operation's objectives and to produce the intended outputs.

The project is structured through three main components:
  • Component 1 - Coordination and Management
  • Component 2 - Communication and Dissemination
  • Component 3 - Exchange of Experiences
Component 1 and component 2 are transversal and operational components which will support the development of the other activities of the project. The component 3 (exchange of experiences) has a technical focus and will be developed in close interaction between the partners.

The project activities will be carried out by two different type of partners, namely:
  • The knowledge partners: INTELI (Portugal), University of Potsdam (Germany) and Nordregio (Sweden)
  • The local/regional public authorities or equivalent: Regional Government of Extremadura (Spain), Local Energy Agency Spodnje Podravje (Slovenia), City of Mizil (Romania), Tartu Regional Energy Agency (Estonia), Municipality of Dabrowa Gornicza (Poland), Dublin City Council (Ireland), Building for the Future (UK).

  • Organization of 6 study visits
  • Organization 4 interregional workshops
  • Organization of Local/regional stakeholders seminars
  • Production of Good Practices Guide
  • Production of Self Assessment Reports
  • Production of Regional Implementation Plans
  • Production of “Policy Recommendations"
  • Production of the report on "Innovative Policy Tools on Green Public Procurement".
  • Development of a system of indicators on Green Buildings policies
